Pat Smith has been a Birmingham radio fixture since 1993, as he created and established ESPN’s ‘Paul Finebaum Show’. Under Pat’s direction, the program expanded from a local AM Radio show in Birmingham to its current national syndicated platform on The SEC Network. Smith has hosted numerous programs on WERC, WJOX, Sirius/XM and ESPN.
Pat’s work through the years has earned him five Alabama Associated Press Awards and he was named one of the “Top 40 under 40” by the Birmingham Business Journal. Smith was the first ever color analyst for UAB Football and is currently in his 4th season as play-by-play announcer for Hewitt-Trussville Football. Pat can also be heard on WJOX Radio, as he frequently co-hosts the mid-day show ‘3 Man Front’ and serves as Assistant Program Director for JOX 94.5, ESPN 100.5 and WJOX-AM.
Smith attended and graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and is an active member of the Football Writers Association of America, National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and US Basketball Writers Association.

She has a passion for college athletics, the NFL, golf, and gymnastics. In her spare time Molly enjoys reading and spending time outdoors.

Born and raised in Sumiton, Alabama Kevin moved to Trussville in 2002. After helping with HFN for the first two years he assumed ownership of the network in 2017. While part of HFN he has served as still photographer, sideline cam operator, game film cam operator, and currently spends Friday evenings in the production truck running replay, pushing graphics, monitoring audio, handling the livestream, and addressing any broadcast issues as needed.
Kevin attended Samford University where earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and minored in Music – Percussion Performance. He later earned his Master of Business Administration from UAB with a concentration in Healthcare Administration and Marketing.
He and his wife Lorrie have five children, all who attended or currently attend Hewitt-Trussville Schools – Catherine (10), Carter (20), Chandler (22), Christian (24), Campbell (26).

As a freelancer he has worked as a director, technical director and camera operator for numerous major networks including Fox News, CNN, ESPN, and CBS Sports, shooting everything from the President to Major league and NFL Hall of Fame Athletes. He has been directing the broadcast for Hewitt Trussville on the Husky Fast Network for the last 5 years. He is married to his wife of 32 years Jolei Higgins. He has a daughter Kayla and son in law Kent and two grandchildren. When he’s not traveling for work he loves to travel with his family.
